Little Castle

So tickled to go in to buy a piece of pie, I bought 2 pieces.

The food was great but the waitresses was very rude & she didn't refill our drinks...T.I.P.S. means To Insure Prompt Service & that was not what we received so she didn't receive a tip

Bland food. Canned fruit and veggies. Mashed potatoes are literally just smashed boiled potatoes with no seasoning or flavor. Corn bread was dry cold and stale. I was completely let down. On the plus side service was fantastic.

The food is good but, since they still allow smoking I won't be back because I won't subject my children to 2nd hand smoke.

Food quality much below standard, items overpriced. Service was excellent.

Waitress was friendly, polite, & kept up w our needs. However, the food was only fair. The salmon patty was dry, but tasty. I used a lit of ketchup.The white beans were not hot, but the purple hull peas were very hot. The cornbread was kind of dry & they only had a butter spread & no real butter. My friend is a smoker, so she likes to go there often bc she can smoke in one section. I don't smoke, so I'm not crazy about going there & only go bc she wants to. I also had a bad experience once b4 with some so-called giblet gravy that was just jellied yukk. Sorry, but I don't care for it.

If you are a CHAIN SMOKER, you might be able to eat there.

Food is home cooked but no seasoned

Ever heard the expression, "greasy spoon"? That's what Lone Oak Little Castle is.A greasy spoon restaurant on the outskirts of the Lone Oak Community. Owned and operated by Mr. Roy Trimble and family. They have been feeding the huddled masses and keeping the smoking prohibitioners in Paducah, KY. totally unhappy about it for ages hence. Lone Oak Little Castle is the place to come for some good ole down home cookin like your Grandma 'used to make' when she was 'still able' to do so. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner. And oh God how I wish that they had a midnight snack hour! Lol. Come one come all to Lone Oak Little Castle at the corner of Lone Oak Rd. and Brett Chase Dr. Open 7 days a week starting at around 5 a.m. cst. closing around 10 p.m. cst.

Food was good, the portions were enough to feed 2 off of one plate!! Nice little place, very clean, friendly servers!

First time here, service was outstanding. Food was good too.

They have the best chocolate pie with meringue. I did not give them a 5 star simply because smoking is allowed. Good food but don't like the smoke.

Food was good and service was average. They have a smoking and non smoking area but there is no divider between the two spaces. We sat close to a bar in the back of the restaurant in the non smoking section. A couple came in after us and sat right across from us at the bar. They smoked the entire meal. Kinda defeated the purpose.

I've had two wonderful breakfast there and one wonderful lunch today it was just delicious. I had liver and onions black eyed peas with cornbread macaroni salad iced tea with sweet lemon I really really really enjoyed myself. We'll be going there as often as I can.

the family was looking for local country cooking. First time try this place. Server was polite. Food was extremely dry. Make sure you get plenty to drink to wash your food down. kids and I hot hamburgers. The kids complained their jaws hurt from chewing too much. Wife got the roast beef. That too was dry. Lots and lots of gravy. Nothing was home cooked. No flavor. Mash potatoes were instant. Seriously, how hard is it to boil a potato and mash it... will not be going back. My wife's stomach made noises all night. Ugh!!

Did not know smoking was aloud and I have severe COPD. Had to leave part of my food but yet I had to pay for all after coughing my self sick I had to leave will never to there again

They have great bacon. but the place smells like smoke from people smoking cigarettes

Breakfast is good. Service is nice and fast...But, they allow smoking and there is no separation between smoking and "non smoking" sections. The whole place smells like cigarettes which ruin the whole experience for me...

There's always a smiling face. The lunch specials every day is good. I recommend everybody try this place. And treat you like family.
